1 january 2005

I wish all bloggers and blog readers, a very special and prosperous new year.

No one including me and you [I hope] would have thought of such a devastating end to the year 2004, but then it is surely past and what we have to do is now to help the survivors. Please don't heistate helping them. I am telling this because this is having a self-helping cause too. It helps all of us from the spreading of contagious diseases which could prove more dangerous than the prevailing situation.

Please check out the websites of India and south Asia to get the addresses of services to which you should be providing your help. There are many of them and I am sure one of you atleast would surely extend your help towards those helpless people. As a student from India, I can only do this, simply because I want to do some to them. Please consider me as a representative of those services and extend your help.

Hope the New Year brings in something to cheer about for the sweet ones survived there. I pray to the mother nature to get cool atleast this year. After all, we are all your chidren and there is no point in punishing us this way. We feel sorry for anything we did to make you angry.

26 december 2004

Today is one of the disastrous day of the world. An earthquake hit Sumatra, an island of Indonesia. The image of the affected area is shown below.

Not much happened in my routine life. The calamity was a heart-breaking news because the start point of the tsunima was near the Indonesia yet striking Indian coast strongly. Many lives are taken away by this unfortunate incident and this is not at all a good send-off to the year. Lots of people could not traced and many are missing.

Anyway, this is an unforgettable day in my life.
